What you can expect from the teacher, if your child’s class is asked to learn from home:
- Daily learning sent via email and Google classroom.
- Differentiated activities, when necessary, to ensure that all children can access their learning (phonics groups etc).
- Communication throughout the day with parents and pupils regarding the learning via email.
- Comments from school staff on photos of work sent by email.
- Support with technical difficulties where we can.
- Extra challenges, optional fun or well-being activities provided.
What is expected of your child, if their class is asked to learn from home:
- Try to complete the lessons and activities sent each day.
- Use neat handwriting and best presentation when completing learning tasks.
- Practise reading a range of books and stories as well as your reading and ask an adult to ask you questions about the story.
