Admissions
Rose Hill Primary School is two and a half form entry, this means that there are 75 places in each year group, with a 40 place Nursery setting. If you are interested in learning more about your child coming to our school, please visit the Parent Information section of the website for more information.
We also recommend that you visit Rose Hill to see in person what we can offer you and your child. We hold ‘Open Afternoons’ in the Autumn Term where you will be given an opportunity to tour the school and meet the Headteacher. Alternatively, please contact the school office on 0161 427 9168 to make an individual appointment with Mrs Mastrolonardo or Ms Marshall.
Admission to Rose Hill:
Allocation of school places is done through the Local Authority in the autumn term of the previous year. All applications are made online and you can find further details at: www.stockport.gov.uk/schooladmissions.
Right of Appeal:
Parents/carers refused a place at any of their preferred schools have the right to appeal against the decision to an Independent Appeal Panel. A parent cannot appeal more than once for the same school place in the same academic year, unless significant and material changes in the case have taken place which the previous Independent Appeal Panel could not have been aware of at the time of the hearing. Please visit www.stockport.gov.uk/admission-appeals for information regarding the appeals process and to view the latest deadline information.
Details of our catchment area:
Please check to see if you live within our catchment area by typing in your postcode on the Stockport MBC website: https://myaccount.stockport.gov.uk/address-finder/schools
Please note that occasionally the Local Authority will also allocate places to pupils living outside the catchment area, if places are available.
