What you can expect from the teacher, if your child’s class is asked to learn from home:
- Daily learning uploaded onto ClassDojo
- Play based activity suggestions
- Teacher modelling videos where needed to support learning
- Communication throughout the day with parents and pupils regarding the learning (via email or ClassDojo)
- Comments from school staff on photos uploaded from parents
- Support with technical difficulties where we can
What is expected of your child, if their class is asked to learn from home:
- Try to complete the focus activities suggested on ClassDojo for each day
- Complete the phonics lesson for the day and practise writing the letter in lots of different ways
- Share a book with your child each day and practise retelling the story
- Complete some of the learning through play activities for the week
